Delete your Papote account

An account is optional in Papote, by TC Fusion LLC. If you made one to back up your progress, you can delete it and the copy we keep at any time.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Papote, go to the Me tab and tap the gear to open Settings.
  2. Under Your data, tap Back up to your Papote account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The account and its backup are deleted straight away. There is no waiting period, and a deleted account can't be restored.

What gets erased

The words and progress on your phone stay there, because the app reads them from the phone, not from your account. To clear the phone too, use Delete my data at the bottom of Settings, or delete the app.

Your subscription is separate

Subscribers

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Your subscription belongs to your app store account, so cancel it in Google Play, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, or in your App Store subscriptions on iPhone.

Can't open the app?

Email us from the address on your Papote account and we'll delete the account and its backup for you. We answer within the time the law allows, which under the GDPR is generally one month.
